Hi, I'm Valentina!
Hi, I'm Valentina!
I'm a Senior Visual Designer at a boutique investment firm in NYC, with a background that bridges Finance and Design. My design thinking is driven by curiosity, I move fluidly between visual design and product thinking, understanding not just how something should look, but the core of the problem I'm solving and how it helps the user or audience.
What draws me most is the gap between finance, product, and the everyday user. So much of finance is built for people who already understand it, and I've found that a lot of people struggle to understand what they're actually doing with their money, especially given how low financial literacy is overall. That's the problem I'm most curious about solving: being transparent, teaching, and designing for that core misunderstanding first, then working outward into how the product itself gets used.
Living in NYC's fast-moving pace mirrors how I work. I move quickly and iterate often, but revisiting the same streets, like revisiting a design, always reveals something new. I bring that same instinct into my work: always centered on the user's problems and needs.
